Gain a practical introduction to 12-lead ECGs in this hands-on and discussion-based CPC course. Tailored for those with limited experience, the session provides a solid foundation in ECG principles and interpretation. Led by Neil Coleman, an experienced Advanced Paramedic and Associate Professor of Emergency Medical Science, this session demystifies the 12-lead ECG by focusing on its purpose, electrode placement, and the identification of critical findings such as MI and common arrhythmias.

This session supports pre-hospital professionals looking to enhance their clinical understanding and decision-making through real-world ECG scenarios and peer-led discussions.

Assessment: This is a Continuous Professional Competency (CPC) session, focused on applied learning and case-based discussion. No formal written exam.

Certification & CPD Accreditation

All participants will receive a Codeblue Attendance Certificate. EMTs will receive CPC points relevant to the course duration, as they are the only pre-hospital practitioners currently required to maintain CPC hours. Other attendees are welcome to use the certificate as part of their professional development portfolio.
